Jet Fan Attic Fans gable mounted version is for homes with hard roofing materials, such as slate, or clay tile or for homeowners who don’t want to mount a fan on the roof. Gable installation is usually a little bit more complex than rooftop installation (for instance, creating the opening in a brick home or having to cut and reinforce a stud in the attic wall, cut through siding and caulk from the outside on a ladder). This version comes without the shutter for those who already have an existing large louver vent in the attic wall.
