Attic humidity, dampness or frost can cause mold, mildew and rot which create health and structural problems in your home. This Jet Fan Humidistat turns any attic fan on and off automatically to keep your attic dry regardless of the temperature. Set the humidistat from 20 to 70% relative humidity or turn it all the way to stop to shut it off or all the way to dry to leave the fan on constantly. 75% is the recommended setting. It works with your existing thermostat. This attic fan humidistat is intended to control attic fans that ventilate un-heated attics that already have an attic fan and other static vents like roof vents or eave / soffit / overhang vents or wall vents.
